Welcome to the Pavement!

Hello!  We loved National Poetry Writing Month so much we thought we'd keep it up.  (See also: Pavement NaPo Facebook page.)  There are a couple of activities going on here at present:

Poetry Thursdays

1. Post one poem every Thursday.  Keep it up for 52 consecutive Thursdays.  Honor system. 
2. Please tag Poetry Thursday posts with your name or alias, and with the tag "Poetry Thursdays".
3. I've made separate tags for people who want only fluff (fluff), people who want critique and don't mind fluff (critique) and people who do not want fluff (no fluff).  Use accordingly.  Comments that violate these requests will be deleted.
4. Feel free to point out weaknesses you see, but please keep critiques helpful in tone.
5. Fluff is allowed (except in no fluff threads).  Comments on others' comments are allowed.  I reserve the right to cut off comment threads that get nasty or personal, and to delete any comments that I think are over the line.
6. Be excellent to each other, and write excellent poetry.

 Sevens

1.  Starting on the seventh of each month, post one poem every day for seven days.
2. Please tag Sevens posts with your name or alias, and with the tag "Sevens".
3. The default is to keep your comments light and fluffy; however, poets are welcome to request critique as well.  
4. As above, have at least one positive thing to say in your critique, or don't comment.
5. No sneaking in late for Sevens, please.
6. Be excellent to each other, and write excellent poetry.
