Poem # 1 - Untitled

Poem #1

Untitled

On a drying rack
in the spare bed-room
he finds her laundry

What can he do
with that pink nightdress
or her tank-top

with a faded Tammy
over Stand By Your Man
in broken gold lettering

  1. cookie, you clever NaPo veteran! You found your way where all others
were misled by my roundabout links :-)

My very first comment while wandering in the wilderness or rather, thrown out on
    the pavement... Occupy NaPo!

  5. How did you make the sound of 'sad' echo throughout the poem without even saying it? Very nice. -- Arlene

  7. Thank you all !
I will keep posting and linking to here. At least till the PFFA proves it's stable.
And come to think of it, that means till the end of NaPo 2012 :-)

  8. Man, exes ought to dress better so you can at least steal their clothes when they leave you. Love the ironic, broken gold letters of "Stand By Your Man".
